Children on Medidibba
How a child’s health records are handled, and who can see them.
Children do not have their own accounts
Medidibba is for adults managing a family’s health. A child is a profile inside a parent’s account, not a separate login. There is no sign-up for under-18s, no profile a child can create, and nothing for a child to log into.
The account holder must be 18 or older. That is in the Terms of Use, and it is the basis on which a parent adds a child’s records here at all.
Who can see a child’s records
- The parent or guardian whose account holds the profile
- Anyone that parent has explicitly invited by email and who has accepted
- Nobody else — not other users, not advertisers, not us for any purpose beyond running the app
Sharing is never automatic and never inherited. Inviting one relative does not give their contacts access. Every share is one decision, for one person, and can be withdrawn instantly from Profile → Sharing and access.
No social features
There is no chat between users, no public profile, no comments, no discovery, no way for a stranger to find or contact anyone. The only person-to-person feature in the app is inviting someone you already know by their email address.
This is deliberate. An app holding children’s medical records is not a place for a social graph.
No ads, no profiling, no data sale
- No advertising of any kind, on any plan
- No behavioural profiling and no third-party analytics on health data
- Nothing about a child is ever sold or shared for marketing
AI and children’s records
AI features read what you upload — a prescription, a lab report — to save you typing. They are assistive and can be wrong, and every reading is shown to you to confirm before anything is saved.
Nothing a child’s records contain is used to train any AI model.
Deleting a child’s data
A parent can delete a child’s profile at any time from Profile → Family members, which removes their records with it. Deleting the whole account removes everything, for every member, permanently.
Under the DPDP Act 2023 a guardian may request deletion of a child’s data at any time, and we act on it.
